The Department of Geography, Kisan Veer Mahavidyalaya, Wai was established in the year 1974. The Department will complete 48 years of existence in this year. It offers graduate courses leading to the Bachelor of Arts. In addition to that short-term certificate course in Land Surveying is also undertaken by the Department. The experienced faculty of the Department is devoted to teaching. Extra care is taken to pay individual attention to the students in their laboratory work and tutorial sessions. Department organizes Fieldwork, excursions, Industrial Visits, Project work regularly to encourage innovative and analytical approaches among the students. All colleagues strive hard to cultivate a research attitude amongst students through academic activities such as quizzes, surveys, workshops, and conferences.
