The Department of Commerce and Management was established in 1962.The postgraduates classes in Commerce were started in the year 1969.Around that period the faculty of post-graduation education in Commerce was available only in Wai besides Kolhapur. The research center in Commerce and Management was started in 1993. The department has great tradition of university toppers award winning students.
